The Arabic Language and Culture Association of South Australia (ALCASA), in conjunction with the History Trust of SA’s Migration Museum, are hosting a Hafle – a celebration event to highlight the achievements of the project “Arabic Arts Alive: Strengthening Community Connections Through Film, Music, and Dance”.
Film, music, and dance are important cultural expressions that help strengthen connections within Arabic communities by fostering shared identity, emotional connection, and intergenerational continuity. The Hafle event will mark the completion of the project Arabic Arts Alive 2025 and include a showcase of community stories about personal experience in Arabic music and dance, as well as a live performance by members of the Arabic Singing Group, the Dabke Dance Group, and other performances by professional local artists.This is a wonderful opportunity to get together in a convivial event around dance and music in the beautiful Nexus Arts Venue at the heart of the City of Adelaide, City Of Music.
